“Remember when I beat you”: Former Champion takes a massive shot at John Cena

Miz and Cena
John Cena is one of the biggest names in the professional wrestling industry. He is the most successful Superstar in the history of the company, in terms of Championship reigns. The Leader of Championship has won a total of 16 World Championships in WWE – a record he shared with “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair.
Cena was the face of the company for nearly a decade. He was massively pushed and a win over him was a massive achievement for any Superstar on the roster. One such Superstar was one of the biggest Heels in the company, The Miz. Cena, being one of the biggest babyfaces of the company, has virtually faced every big Heel in the company.
John Cena is currently presenting a new documentary on the Heels of the company – titled “WWE Evil”. In order to promote the documentary, Cena put out a tweet pushing The Miz. “One of my favorite bad guys and Wrestlemania opponents. He reminds everyone all the time” – mentioned the Leader of Cenation.
The Miz being Miz, retorted with a sly response. “Hey Cena, remember when I beat you at Wrestlemania?” But John Cena once again responded with nothing but even more kind words. “I do. Vividly. You worked your a** off on the road to the event and at the event itself. Sacrificing your body during the event to do all you could to give the audience every ounce, even possibly at the expense of your own memory. Your passion and dedication hasn’t ever changed,” tweeted John Cena.
The Miz and John Cena had collided at Wrestlemania 27

The Leader of Cenation and The A-lister had collided in the main event of Wrestlemania 27. The Miz had walked in as the WWE Champion, along with Alex Riley by his side. It was a brutal match, which came to an anti-climatic end when both the Superstars were counted out. But soon, The Rock walked out and announced a restart for the match with a new stipulation.
The Rock changed it to a no-disqualification, no count-out and no time stipulation match. Cena was robbed with the opportunity to win the title when he was hit by a Rock Bottom by Dwayne Johnson. The Miz managed to retain the title – but the show ended with him being hit by a spinebuster and a People’s Elbow!
