“Please send the address” – Junior dos Santos calls out Roman Reigns

Junior dos Santos wasn't happy with Roman Reigns' comments about AEW.

Junior dos Santos and Roman Reigns

Junior dos Santos means business. He wouldn’t tolerate anyone demeaning the AEW. The former UFC heavyweight champion joined AEW as a part of the American Top Team, and he made his in-ring debut a couple of days ago, teaming up with ‘Men of the Year’ – Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky, and defeating Chris Jericho’s Inner Circle.

Elsewhere, ‘The Tribal Chief’ Roman Reigns who has been ruling the blue brand of WWE, made belittling remarks about AEW being able to compete with WWE. He also went on to address the AEW debut of former WWE Superstar CM Punk, before going on to add: “I’ll throw him [CM Punk] and pretty much the rest of that roster out the club no problem. They’re just little brothers, you know?”

Reigns’ comments didn’t sit well with the AEW community, especially with AEW new-recruit Junior dos Santos. ‘Cigano’ took to Twitter to call out Reigns after stating that he had listened to his interview.

“Roman Reigns I heard your interview” – Junior dos Santos

JDS wrote on Twitter: “Hey @WWERomanReigns I heard your interview. Please send the address of this club you will throw me and my little brothers out of #AEW.”

Whether Reigns and JDS will ever meet inside the ring, we will never know, but one thing is for sure, dos Santos is no-nonsense and he means it. The Brazilian is still not retired as a mixed martial artist, despite being released from the UFC on the 3rd of March. He still hasn’t found an MMA shelter.

Reigns, on the other hand, is gearing up for his WWE Universal Championship title defense against ‘The Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar. The pair will clash at Crown Jewel 2021 at Mohammed Abdu Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He had beaten ‘The Demon’ Finn Balor to set up a title clash with Lesnar.
