Kevin Owens Discusses his Disappearance from RAW, Talks about Appearing at NXT Tonight

Kevin Owens returned to Monday Night RAW as the prizefighter on the August 22 episode and then engaged in various feuds until September 19 and was once again pulled off from the television programming. It seems like WWE is still figuring out the creative plans for Owens yet as he has been missing from RAW since a couple of weeks.

But, now a good news is coming for all the Owens fans as the man himself has announced that he’ll be present on NXT Tonight. NXT is coming up with its special show Halloween Havoc and the company is trying its level best to hype up the show. Ever Since Triple H has taken over the role of Creative Head, there has been constant call ups of NXT Superstars on the main roster and vice versa as well.

This gives the developmental territory prime importance in the company and not just any other sub brand of the parent organization. After it was announced that The Judgement Day star Rhea Ripley and SmackDown’s sensation Raquel Rodriguez would be on NXT, it has been confirmed that “the prizefighter” Kevin Owens would also be making an appearance on the show tonight.

BT Sport tweeted a video in which Kevin Owens is seen discussing his disappearance from Monday Night RAW, and said he’ll be returning to in-ring action soon and will be on NXT Tonight. He said that he’ll be there to maintain decorum between NXT Champion Bron Breakker and upcoming challengers Ilja Dragunov and JD McDonagh.

Owens said that he’ll be there to ensure that any kind of violence doesn’t take place in the ring as all three men would look to air out differences among each other. Kevin Owens said that the in-charge for NXT Shawn Michaels had himself asked him to come. Describing that he was a no one to reject Michael’s offer and to keep his respect Owens said he would be there.

He further said that Michaels was the reason that he started professional wrestling and would make sure that fighters do not engage in a scuffle. He further said that it’s been quite a while since he last appeared on NXT and is excited to appear on the show.
