John Cena is, inarguably, the biggest WWE Superstar to have stepped inside the squared circle. Presented as the face of the company for over a decade, Cena played a crucial role in gaining global recognition for WWE. While his mic skills are considered to be among the best in the business, Cena’s 16 World title reigns showcase his unmatched skills as an in-ring performer.

But a couple of years ago, Cena switched careers and started pursuing work in Hollywood – becoming a part-time WWE wrestler. While his initial years as an actor weren’t as big as his WWE run, 2021 catapulted Cena’s Hollywood career. In fact, he was seen playing crucial roles in 2 massive Hollywood franchisees and is all set to star in his own series.

John Cena’s WWE career took a backseat but he returned to company as soon as he got a break from his busy Hollywood schedule. He appeared in the final moments of Money in the Bank, and kicked off a feud against the Universal Champion Roman Reigns. After feuding for nearly a month, the two biggest WWE names collided at Summerslam – where Reigns emerged victorious.

But the WWE Universe is never satisfied! As soon as the storyline with Cena concluded, fans started discussing that when would Cena be back. Wrestlemania 38 was being considered as a realistic possibility for the Leader of Cenation’s return. The Champ recently cleared the air on his return, while he appeared on The Ellen Show.

“So, WrestleMania is usually in the cusp of late March, early April. I don’t know if I’m gonna make it this year and that’s a good conundrum to have because there’s a lot of good opportunity coming up which I would love to take and if all those things line up, I don’t know if I’ll be able to make WrestleMania,” mentioned Cena.
