35-year-old WWE Superstar forced to DELETE Twitter account after severe backlash for causing injury on SmackDown
Ridge Holland from The Brawling Brutes has deleted his Twitter account after he was bashed for a botched move he made on SmackDown.

On a recent episode of SmackDown, Sheamus, and Ridge Holland took on the team of Pretty Deadly. During the match, Ridge Holland failed to execute a move properly as he threw Elton Prince on the back of his neck and shoulder. Prince was injured by the move and is sidelined by the injury. After the incident, the WWE Universe and fans are calling out Ridge Holland for injuring the former NXT Tag Team Champion.
Fans are calling Holland unsafe and unprofessional for injuring Prince. Holland gave his defense in a now-deleted tweet, saying that the move was unfortunate and that Elton Prince got injured during the landing and not while taking the move. However, he said that the loss was unfortunate and wished a speedy recovery to the 26-year-old. No specifications on the injury have been disclosed; however, he is expected to be out of action for some time.
This did not stop fans from calling out Holland for being unsafe. He is getting trolled and has even received death threats from some fans. His team member Sheamus came out in his support and clarified that Ridge Holland is a safe worker and cares about the safety of his opponent. After receiving severe level of criticism, Ridge Holland decided to take some time off from Twitter.
Fans and critics on Twitter can sometimes be very harsh and not consider the motives of the wrestlers. This can harm the wrestler’s credibility and damage their reputation. It looks like Ridge Holland will stay off the media radar for some time.
Ridge Holland believes that Butch can dethrone Roman Reigns
The Brawling Brutes have been on a successful run on the main roster. Sheamus had one of the best matches of his career during his feud with Gunther as The Brutes feuded with The Imperium. While talking to Sun Sports, Ridge Holland talked about his teammates. He praised Sheamus for being a strong supporter and also acknowledged his career.
While talking about Pete Dunne, aka Butch, Holland said he is being held back as a part of the team. He said that Butch is an exceptional talent and has the potential to be the company’s top star. Ridge also said that he can even dethrone Roman Reigns if given the proper chance and stage.
Holland said, “We haven’t really crossed that bridge with Butch about who we would want to pick. But yeah, Roman is the golden goose at the moment; he’s the man. He’s the face of the company.” Pete Dunne was one of the most dominant forces during his time in NXT and NXT UK. His Bruiserweight gimmick was popular with the fans, as he won the WWE UK Championship during his time in NXT UK.
