This week’s Monday Night RAW marked the end of this year’s WWE Draft. And similar to how after last week’s SmackDown, the SmackDown LowDown revealed an additional list of superstars who were then drafted, this week’s RAW Talk after RAW featured a list of superstars who got drafted.
At the two talk shows, the remaining bunch of WWE superstars got drafted. Last night’s Monday Night RAW concluded this year’s draft, which shook things up for all three brands. A lot of elite superstars were shuffled between the two main brands of WWE, as well as a lot of superstars from NXT got called up as well.
After the main show got over, RAW Talk revealed a list of superstars who got drafted. Below given is the list of all the additional superstars who got drafted:
Superstars drafted to RAW:
- Dana Brooke
- Nikki Cross
- Johnny Gargano
- Los Lotharios
- Akira Tozawa
- Piper Niven
- Xia Li
- Tegan Fox
- Emma
- Riddick Moss
- Odyssey Jones
- Jinder Mahal
Superstars drafted to SmackDown
- Tamina
- Grayson Waller
This concludes the list of all the additional superstars who got drafted to SmackDown and RAW. This year, both brands got a lot of callups from NXT such as Johnny Gargano, Grayson Waller, Zoey Stark, Indus Sher, Jinder Mahal, JD McDonagh, Jones, Alba Fyre, Isla Dawn, Indi Hartwell, Kayden Carter, Katana Chance and Pretty Deadly.
Some superstars like Baron Corbin, Brock Lesnar, Omos, Dolph Ziggler, Cedric Alexander, Shelton Benjamin, Mustafa Ali and Elias went undrafted this year. They are considered to be free agents and can appear at any brand. It is interesting to note that both Grayson Waller and Johnny Gargano got called up to the opposite brands. The two are bitter rivals who have a long history together.

Ups and Downs of WWE Draft 2023

While this year’s draft was okay for the most part, it certainly had its moments where the picks of each brand were either perfect or downright non-sensical.
Firstly, Cody Rhodes moving to RAW was a pretty bad move on WWE’s part. After his WrestleMania loss to Roman Reigns, fans predicted that the two would soon have a rematch. Even Cody himself proclaimed that he would “finish the story” with Roman Reigns by dethroning him. But with the two now on the opposite sides of the brand, it’s pretty much impossible for them to face off.
AJ Styles moving to the blue brand with his faction might have been the best possible move of WWE. Styles had previously shined on SmackDown, being it’s face at one point. After moving to RAW, his momentum gradually faded. He hardly stood out as a singles competitor on the red brand, so moving to SmackDown might be beneficial for him. Another good move was moving Gunther to RAW. The Intercontinental Champion defeated almost the entire roster of the blue brand and reigned supreme. Moving to RAW gives him a whole new batch of competitors.
Lastly, LA Knight staying on SmackDown feels like another slap in the face for the star. Knight is already a fan favourite, and has all the tools needed to be a future World Champion. However, Roman Reigns is currently at the top of the blue brand. It won’t be for a long time till he loses and Knight finally gets an opportunity. At RAW, he could have easily tried to get into the title picture by entering the tournament for the World Heavyweight Championship.
With this year’s draft now behind us, fans now look forward to the next edition of draft. After the shuffle, both brands need to step up their game and utilize their wrestlers to the fullest potential.
