“More jacked than CM”- Wrestling Twitter go bananas over AJ Lee’s shredded physique, speculation running rampant regarding her wrestling comeback

For some reason, AJ Lee decided to bless the timeline. While doing so, she dropped one of her latest photos on Instagram. In those, she’s looking absolutely chiseled and intimidating than ever. It almost feels like as if she’s gearing up for an in-ring return anytime soon. However, it doesn’t necessarily needs to be true. The former Divas Champion loves to work on her physique and keeps her fans posted on the matter.

At present, she serves as the executive producer for Women of Wrestling. Also, she does a regular color commentary for the promotion. Although, Lee hasn’t stepped foot back into that squared circle since 2013, this business runs through her veins. Her last match came on Monday Night Raw following WrestleMania 31. At The Showcase of the Immortals in 2015, the gorgeous Diva joined forces with Saraya (then Paige) to defeat The Bella Twins (now, The Garcia Twins).

For multitude of reasons, Paige would remain as a special name in AJ’s wrestling journey. After all, the British Diva shocked the world when she won the Divas Championship from Lee upon her Raw debut. It’s still hard to process how the Anti-Diva pulled that off. After putting an exclamation mark to Lee’s 295-day title reign, Paige gained major prominence.

Life came full circle for both when they eventually became friends on television. Many fans still wonder what exactly led to AJ Lee’s abrupt WWE retirement. However, in her memoir, the 36-year-old specified the reason. Physically, she had a permanent damage to her cervical spine. Moreover, CM Punk’s growing issues with WWE at the time also contributed to the fold. She wasn’t going to stay at a place where her husband faced humiliation.

As seen from the reactions above, fans are absolutely elated to see Lee making moves. It appears like she has overcome whatever physical conundrum she faced in the past. Everyone would love to have the 3-time Divas Champion back laying mayhem. With CM Punk back in AEW, it wouldn’t be a tough call for his wife to join him in the Tony Khan led promotion.
