According to PWInsider, WWE’s original plan this week was to have a no-disqualification match between AJ Styles and Karrion Kross. However, the idea was dropped at the last minute by the creative. The possible reason behind scrapping the original plans has not been revealed yet.

However, according to speculation, WWE scrapped the plans because it already had major things on the show for this week. They wanted Rey Mysterio’s win and The Bloodline segment to be the main focus and headline of the show. Having a No-DQ match would have surely outshadowed the other happenings on the show.

Although fans cheered for AJ Styles in the match, they were upset about his creative bookings. It still remains a question whether WWE has put an end to this feud or is planning to stretch it further. It will be interesting to see the possible directions of AJ Styles and Karrion Kross from here on out.
