One of the best storylines in modern wrestling is nearing its end as WrestleMania is on the horizon. As a result of this compelling story, the WWE Universe has seen an organic rise of one the most overlooked wrestlers in that roster Sami Zayn. The former Honorary Uce has grown so rapidly that the fans are itching for him to be the top world champion in the promotion. And now, it looks like WWE Hall of Famer Alundra Blayze seems to share this opinion as well.
The former WWE Women’s Champion shared her thoughts on Sami Zayn’s story on her Twitter account. While she sees the value in Cody Rhodes as the top babyface in the promotion, the WWE legend also maintains that the company is missing the boat on a rising main event star. Alundra Blayze tweeted, “I don’t know about you guys but I think @SamiZayn is the next big thing! If they stifle him from growing I think it’ll be a big mistake. I know they’re trying to protect Cody Rhodes but they need to let it go organically. there’s no coming back.”
The Trailblazer took the words out of many WWE fans’ mouths. However, as it stands, the current plans for WrestleMania don’t seem to involve Sami Zayn in the World title match. Nevertheless, the 38-year-old superstar might still get a championship match at the Grandest Stage of Them All. The rumors stand that Zayn might be teaming up with his fellow Montreal native, Kevin Owens, to challenge for the Undisputed Tag Titles against The Usos. Moreover, seeing the status of Sami, it might as well main-event the first night of WrestleMania in Los Angeles.

Sami Zayn came face-to-face with Jimmy Uso on SmackDown this week
On the latest episode of SmackDown, the fans saw another installment in the Bloodline saga as the relationship between every member of the story became more complex. In the main event segment, Jimmy Uso came down to the ring hopeful to settle things with his twin brother face-to-face. However, instead of Jey, he met his former friend Sami Zayn. The former member of the Bloodline delivered an emotional promo to Jimmy on how he felt betrayed at the Royal Rumble.
When the other half of the Tag team champions, Jey finally appeared in the crowd it seemed to distract Sami who got beaten by his twin brother in the ring. In the end, though the Canadian superstar got to stand tall as he delivered a Helluva Kick to Jimmy in front of his brother. The decision of Jey to not get involved in the action inside the ring seemed intriguing to everyone. As Roman Reigns return to SmackDown next week, it will be exciting to see what judgment he shall pass on his Right-Hand man.
