The RAW XXX edition saw Austin Theory retain his United States Championship. Bobby Lashley’s defeat saw the end of his rivalry with Theory. Thanks to Brock Lesnar, who interfered during the match and delivered an F-5 to Bobby Lashley. This resumed the rivalry between Lesnar and Lashley.

Lashley and Lesnar last met at the Crown Jewel and haven’t crossed paths since. The encounter at the Crown Jewel didn’t indicate the end of their feud. The match was also hated by the WWE Universe for ending abruptly. Thus, to satisfy the WWE Universe, a fourth bout was surely needed. As of yet, both aren’t scheduled to fight against each other but will be a part of the Royal Rumble.

Maybe both men would fight at the Elimination Chamber. Last year at the Elimination Chamber, Brock Lesnar won his first ever Elimination Chamber match. The match also involved a “Oh my God” moment, where Lesnar delivered F-5 to Austin Theory from the top of the pod.

Austin Theory was the last person in the chamber, and Lesnar pinned him to win the championship for the seventh time in his career. Following that, Theory and Lesnar clashed several times, with Lesnar frequently failing to make Theory cash in his MITB contract by attacking him.

During a recent chat with SK Wrestling, Austin Theory spoke about his many encounters with Lesnar and recalled the Elimination Chamber moment as well as MITB cash-in interruptions. Thereafter, Austin Theory asserted that Brock Lesnar was no longer a threat to him.

“Me and Brock Lesnar. What a journey we’ve been on together……No, I’m not worried about Brock Lesnar. I think my days of being afraid of Brock Lesnar are over……and he leaves, and what’s up with that? You know? What’s up with that?”
