SmackDown superstar Bayley expressed how embarrassed she felt after coming up short on the show featuring The Rock and John Cena.

On this week’s edition of SmackDown, the WWE Universe witnessed the unthinkable with the stupendous return of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. The multi-time WWE Champion briefly interacted with John Cena in a backstage segment. Former Women’s Champion Bayley claimed that she faced embarrassment in front of the two legends.
The Damage CTRL leader collided against the Empress of Tomorrow, Asuka, on the latest edition of the blue brand. As the role model set the announcement table to toss her opponent over it, Shotzi’s interruption distracted her. As a result, Asuka rolled Bayley to grab the victory.
The 34-year-old superstar took to X and wrote, “I can’t believe I was embarrassed in front of @TheRock and @JohnCena.” The former Women’s Champion seemingly blamed Shotzi for her abrupt loss against Asuka, which eventually made her feel embarrassed.
Following her humiliating loss this week on SmackDown, the Role Model went into a meltdown and called the likes of Charlotte, Asuka, and Shotzi bullies in a digital exclusive clip. It will be interesting to see what is in store for next week as the WWE Women’s Champion and Damage CTRL member, Iyo Sky, battles Asuka with her title on the line.
Becky Lynch verbally dismantles Bayley with a one-liner
On last week’s edition of NXT, the Man, Becky Lynch, captured the WWE NXT Women’s Championship for the first time in her WWE career. Soon after, SmackDown superstar Bayley mocked the multi-time champion. The blue brand superstar took a jibe at Big Time Becks on X, as the latter won the NXT Women’s Championship at this stage of her career.
Bayley trolled Becky Lynch saying that it took her so long to win the NXT title. However, Big Time Becks didn’t hesitate to give it back to the Damage CTRL leader. She brutally roasted Bayley with her words, writing, “Less time than it’s taken you to main event WrestleMania.”
The 36-year-old superstar quipped that it took her less time to win the NXT Women’s Title than it took Bayley to main event a WrestleMania. Thus, she gave a mouth-shutting reply to the former SmackDown Champion with a quick-witted one-line response.
