Bayley seems to have not done with Bianca Belair, and she won’t stop until she defeats Belair for the RAW Women’s Championship. The Role Model won the Triple Threat match on RAW this week, wherein she defeated Asuka and Rhea Ripley to win the match.

The bout was fantastic, and all three wrestlers looked good, with each selling to make everyone else look good. The Role Model delivered the rose plant on Asuka to clinch the victory. Ripley, who was injured at ringside, entered the ring and vented her rage on Asuka.

Bayley will now face Alexa Bliss next week on RAW for the No. 1 contender’s match for the RAW Women’s Championship. Bliss won a triple threat match against Nikki Cross and Becky Lynch, securing her spot to face Bayley on the same night.

The match saw versatility from the three pro wrestlers, and it was as good as the one involving Bayley, Ripley, and Asuka. The DAMAGE CTRL members interfered during the bout and prevented The Man from winning by power bombing her on the announce table. This was an advantage for Bliss, who performed a Twisted Bliss on Cross to win the match.

Bayley and Bliss will lock horns next week, and it seems Alexa Bliss has an advantage as there is a possibility that Lynch might interfere and cost Bayley the match. Matt Camp, who hosts WWE’s The Bump, wrote on Twitter that it was the second time that Bayley had defeated Asuka in a singles match in her career. The role model responded by calling him stupid and reminding him that the match was a Triple Threat.

Alexa Bliss discusses her preparation for Bayley

Alexa Bliss has been largely absent from the championship picture this year. Fans may see Bliss compete for the RAW Women’s Championship for the first time in a long time. It hasn’t been decided yet where the match will take place. With no PPVs between now and the Royal Rumble, we can expect it to happen on the main rosters.

After winning, Bliss was asked about her preparation for the next week during a backstage interview with Cathy Kelly. Bliss claimed that her extensive experience with DAMAGE CTRL has prepared her to face Bayley this time. Bliss talked about her newly discovered rage, which she plans to direct against The Role Model.

“You know we have had a lot of run-ins into damage ctrl including Bayley herself and I think I am prepared for Bayley this time. You know, last time, you know I was really finding my footing, but recently I have had this newfound aggression and I am going to channel that with Bayley and I am excited for next week.”

With Bray Wyatt’s return to WWE, fans are expecting Bliss to reconcile with Wyatt. She even got a tease with Wyatt’s logo backstage while preparing for the Triple threat match. Maybe the aggression she has found now has something to do with Wyatt, as she was also seen trying to deliver a move similar to Sister Abigail. Nevertheless, fans are desperate to see the two together again and hope it happens soon.
