DEVASTATING Update about Bray Wyatt’s Uncle leaves fans worried

Barry Windham is the real life Uncle of Bray Wyatt.

In a devastating update, Barry Windham, who is a WWE Hall of Famer and Uncle of WWE superstar Bray Wyatt has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after suffering a massive heart attack. The news broke out when Mika Rotunda, the niece of Windham started a crowdfunding campaign informing the general public about the situation.

The campaign started on GoFundMe mentions the details of how the tragedy took place. Rotunda informed that Windham was traveling through Atlanta airport when he suffered a cardiac arrest and had to be rushed to the nearest medical facility and is currently admitted in the ICU where he has undergone an emergency procedure to save his life as the family is still praying for his well-being.

Windham announced his retirement in 2010, but as revealed by his niece, that the WWE Hall of Famer has sustained many injuries throughout his career, and to fix them he had to undergo many surgeries that have left a drastic impact on his health. The fundraiser also revealed that Windham has been pretty low-key on the work front due to the medical complications and has been left without health insurance as well.

The update is concerning as Rotunda wrote- “But as of now, the future is uncertain” We at FirstSportz would like to extend our prayers and wishes to the Windham family in these tough times and wish a speedy recovery for one of the wrestling greats.

Windham started his career forming a tag team with his brother-in-law Mike Rotunda, who happens to be the father of Bray Wyatt as well. The two first dominated the NWA Tag Team division before heading towards WWF and were named as The U.S. Express. After having a short stint with WWF both went to AWA and Windham then moved on to work in Jim Crockett Promotions(JCP).

At JCP, Windham turned heel for the first time as he joined Ric Flair’s iconic stable The Four Horsemen consisting of him, Flair, Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard. After this Barry Windham went to WWF again for another forgetful run and then joined WCW to reunite with Four Horsemen stable but this time its members were Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Sid Vicious and Ole Anderson. Ole was semi-active and became a manager after Windham joined the crew.

After dominating WCW, Windham once again jumped ship to WWF in 1996 and joined the company as “The Stalker”. Soon he would form an alliance with Justin Hawk Bradshaw and they would be known as The New Blackjacks. However after sometime he again went to WCW for a year long run and then began wrestling on American Indie shows for major part of his career.

He then worked as a producer for WWE from 2007-2008. In 2012, he was inducted into WWE Hall of Fame as a part of the Four Horsemen. Also, the recent Uncle Howdy character seen in Bray Wyatt’s segments has been widely rumored to have been influenced by Barry Windham and some reports even claimed that Windham could be the one doing the on-screen portrayal as well.
