Bayley’s WWE return

Bayley made her shocking return at SummerSlam 2022 after being out of action due to injury for more than a year. She was not alone though, as Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai also joined her to come face-to-face with Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch. The faction was named Damage CTRL after a couple of weeks. They had their first 6-woman tag team match at Clash at the Castle, defeating Alexa Bliss, Asuka, and Bianca Belair.
The group was instantly pushed to the main event scene, as Bayley challenged for the Raw women’s championship and Sky and Kai went for the women’s tag team titles. While their tag team goal eventually came to fruition, Bayley lost two straight PLE matches at Extreme Rules and Crown Jewel. After a strong start, the group felt a little lackluster, as they also lost the War Games match at Survivor Series.
The WWE universe had high hopes for this star-studded faction under the new creative control of Triple H. However, the recent losses have not helped in making Damage CTRL seem like a legitimate threat. Bayley is currently in a feud with Becky Lynch.
