Bayley reacts to her match getting trimmed by Vince McMahon on WWE SmackDown this week
Bayley was scheduled to have a match this week on SmackDown against Shotzi, which was supposed to have massive implications for Money in the Bank.

Once again, Vince McMahon made several changes to WWE SmackDown this week. That led to matches getting scrapped, with one of them being Bayley’s. She was originally set to put her Money in the Bank spot on the line against Shotzi. However, that match never happened. Despite having advertised till the very end, McMahon pulled it out at the eleventh hour. Bayley has now seemingly reacted to her exclusion with a photo of her own.
According to WRKD wrestling, the creative plans for SmackDown kept changing all week long. Even last night before the show went on-air, they were altered frequently. That hasn’t met with acclaim backstage. A lot of WWE superstars are reportedly growing in frustrated over this each passing week. Earlier this week, Rollins vs. Ciampa got scrapped at the last second, upon the marching orders of the WWE CEO.
It seems like McMahon is now back to making changes every now and then. Earlier on, his involvement was there, but to a very limited extent. However, as of late, the 77-year-old has apparently gained supreme control of WWE creative. Triple H and his team can only plan the rundowns, but their path to television solely depends upon Mr. McMahon. Bayley posted on her Twitter, presumably reacting to herself being cut last night.
Another match that Vince McMahon changed was the originally advertised triple threat between LA Knight, Santos Escobar and Butch. Instead of that, Knight faced Mysterio in a singles match. And what turned out to sit well with the fans, the Megastar defeated Mysterio clean as a whistle.

Vince McMahon have cut Bayley in the past too
It’s a no-brainer that the formation of The Damage CTRL was a Triple H invention. He picked Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky, two of the most talented names from his NXT Black & Gold era, and paired them with Bayley. They debuted at SummerSlam last year. That couldn’t have been done any better. However, what Hunter adores isn’t Vince McMahon’s cup of tea.
This year on Raw after WrestleMania, McMahon hijacked the creative and ran the entire show from the gorilla position. That show witnessed Damage CTRL come out for their match without their leader, Bayley. Some reports stated that The Role Model was set to accompany her girls to the ring. However, a certain force stopped her from doing so.
Then, Dakota and Sky lost their match within a matter of minutes. That was the weakest that group has looked since their debut. The superstars started to feel the presence of Vince McMahon in their booking. On every show he lays his fingerprints on, the majority of women’s segments and matches are nixed.
