“That drives the business forward” Becky Lynch turns pensive as she analyses the heels and babyfaces in WWE

Becky Lynch has the upper hand in the women’s division of the company. She has been a great addition to the company as a heel character in terms of gathering views and keeping the audience intact in the industry. This was a great decision since Lynch herself grew to be great in the ring after that.
Becky had just returned to the ring at SummerSlam 2021 after being a mother. SummerSlam of 2021 held a special place in the hearts of the superstars as she defeated the then RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair in less than half of a minute. Her heel character, thus, gained tremendous love from Day 1.
Talking to NYC Advertising Week, Becky Lynch confessed that even she prefers portraying a heel character in the ring since it provided greater freedom in terms of doing what is expected. She also cited the example of Twitter, where it is generally human nature to not like other people.
She, herself feels that the heels tend to grow the company at a greater rate. According to her, the role of the heel was to show what a babyface would look like. The audience must be left pondering upon the thought, ‘What would happen if a heel wins and rules the division?’
She also feels connected to the audience and feels that she is capable enough to help a babyface. If both heels and babyfaces continue to grow, the entire women’s division will prosper. “When people get more equity and get more exposure, I think that drives the business forward,” she added.
Becky Lynch’s babyface character didn’t provide her scope of growth
Becky Lynch feels that in real life and unconsciously, she will fall on the list of baby faces. Her persevering nature is not unknown to the audience. Moreover, as a babyface, one is obliged to maintain a good look. One has to do everything that would make the audience like them.
Becky feels that she is “not the greatest athlete in the world“. She had been playing a baby face since the day she joined the wrestling industry. Her shift to heel character was massive and grew out to be an outstanding personality. She knows the pros and cons of both sides of the character having a great experience in the same.
The Man is presently out of action because of the injury she suffered at the 2022 SummerSlam. Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins are parents to Roux Lopez who is not even 2 years old at the current moment. Because of the increased responsibility of her daughter, Becky’s in-ring appearances have also reduced.
