‘The Man’ Becky Lynch has established herself as one of the biggest stars in the women’s division and the entire company. However, she has arguably been overshadowed over the past year on the main roster. As a result, she has shifted her focus to winning the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania.

Lynch confronted Rhea Ripley on the latest edition of Raw and expressed her biggest insecurity. The 36-year-old star genuinely thought that Mami might be better than her. Ripley has held the championship for almost 300 days and has defeated almost everybody on the Raw roster.

On the WWE Preview Special episode, Becky announced that she would enter the Royal Rumble match. Big Time Becks promised she would win the Rumble and become the first ever 2-time Women’s Royal Rumble winner. The 36-year-old went through a little rough phase when Nia Jax beat her clean on the Day 1 edition of Raw, ruining her momentum.

The Man and Mami have only met each other in a singles match once, and that was in NXT. Although it ended in a disqualification, both of the superstars delivered a great match. It will be interesting to see whether Becky wins the Royal Rumble and dethrones Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania or not.

A look at Becky Lynch’s first Royal Rumble win

Becky Lynch is aiming to win the 2024 Royal Rumble match and set her eyes on the Women’s World Champion, Rhea Ripley. If she wins the Rumble, that would make her the first-ever 2-time winner of the women’s bout. She emerged victorious in 2019, but an interesting thing was that she wasn’t initially supposed to enter the match.

The Man was the SmackDown Women’s Champion going into the event, but she lost the title to Asuka in a brutal match. However, the night was not over for her, as she took the place of the injured Lana and entered the match. Becky eliminated both Nia Jax and runner-up Charlotte Flair to win the Rumble.

She went on to become the Undisputed Women’s Champion after defeating Ronda Rousey and Flair in a ‘Winner Takes All’ match at WrestleMania. The 36-year-old is aiming for a similar type of success she had five years ago; only time will tell what the future holds for her.
