Becky Lynch is one of the top stars in WWE and has a pretty strong fanbase. Her main roster run has been quite successful. Big Time Becks recently compared her time on the main roster with that of NXT during a podcast with Corey Graves. She also stated the reason behind her crazy characters on the yellow brand. Lynch said that she was assured about not being booked like the next Goldberg.

On the After The Bell podcast, Lynch spoke about her uncomfortable feelings being on NXT. The Man stated how she was always on the verge of being one of those stars who barely made their name on the show. Becky looked at the brighter side of this situation and stated that it made her easygoing. She had nothing to lose and had no shame about doing anything on the show. And all that resulted in her playing silly characters like that of an old magician, an Irish jigger, and much more.
