Becky Lynch teases a possible second match on WrestleMania Day 2

Becky Lynch teases working double duty at WrestleMania 39. She is already scheduled for a six-woman tag team match at WrestleMania o April 1. Could she be possibly working another match on WrestleMania Day 2?

Becky Lynch is already booked to face Damage CTRL(Bayley, Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai) alongside two WWE Legends, Lita and Trish Stratus. However, after a recent tease, it seems like The Man might be working double duty on WrestleMania weekend.

Recently appearing on The Tommy Tiernan Show, Becky Lynch expressed her desire to defend her Women’s Tag Team Championship on Night 2 of WrestleMania. She said that her fans would the call her “Becky Two-Fights”.

Lynch even went as far as to say that the nickname should be put on a t-shirt, similar to the “Becky Two-Belts” merchandise after she won both RAW Women’s Championship and SmackDown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 35. She defeated Charlotte Flair who was SmackDown Women’s Champ and Ronda Rousey, who was RAW Women’s Champ at that time.

This however, could very well become a reality. WWE has already set up two Showcase matches at WrestleMania. Whoever wins the matches, would get a shot at Men’s and Women’s tag team titles respectively. If the Women’s Showcase match takes place on Night 1 of WrestleMania, then its entirely possible for The Man to defend her tag team championship on Night 2 against whoever wins at the Showcase match.

Becky Lynch, Lita & Trish Stratus vs Damage CTRL at WrestleMania 39

Lynch is currently scheduled to face Damage CTRL- Bayley, Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai in a six-woman tag team match. The Man is being backed up by the two female WWE Legends, Trish Stratus and her best friend Lita. The match was in works for a few weeks now.

During a steel cage match between Lynch and Damage CTRL leader Bayley, Lita made a surprise appearance in order to prevent Bayley’s teammates from interfering. Later, Lita and Becky Lynch teamed up to challenge Iyo Sky & Dakota Kai for the Women’s Tag Team Championship. They won after the surprise return of Trish Stratus, and became the new RAW Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Initially, The Man was facing the Damage CTRL alone for months, but the arrival of Stratus and Lita evened the odds. They are now set to face Damage CTRL at WrestleMania Night 1, as they look to end their rivalry with the villainous stable.
