Watch: Becky Lynch tries to punch Cody Rhodes, misses hilariously
Becky Lynch has been one of the top faces in WWE since her comeback last year, as she has been involved in some major storylines, even winning the Smackdown women’s championship against Bianca Belair on her comeback. After exchanging the titles with Charlotte, and becoming the new RAW women’s champion, she recently lost her title to Bianca Belair at Wrestlemania 38.
Becky Lynch has recently been feuding with the recent returnee ‘The Empress of Tomorrow’ Asuka, and on this week of RAW, the two women battled it out to determine the number one contender for Bianca Belair‘s RAW Women’s Championship. During the match, when the referee was distracted, Becky tried to cheat her way to win the match by hitting Asuka with an umbrella, but Asuka was one step ahead as she sprayed green mist in Becky eyes.
When the cameras went off, Becky sold the green mist part, as she was stumbling when assisted by the referee backstage. As she did so, Cody Rhodes came out for a dark match, and when big time becks, heard Cody’s music, she started hitting punches and throwing punches in the air and hilariously not landing a single blow. Becky Lynch in a triple threat match
In order for Bianca Belair to look good as a champion, WWE should book should book a triple threat match at WWE next premium live event against Becky lynch and Asuka, as it would not appropriate for Asuka to lose against Bianca clean. A clean loss to Asuka will mean some considerable amount of heat towards Bianca.
If the circumstances lead to a triple threat match, WWE should instead let Bianca pin Becky in the match and let both of them move-on to other more considerable feuds, rather than mixing her up in the ongoing feud of Asuka and Becky Lynch. Even though it is a long shot, but a non-title singles bout between Becky Lynch and Asuka will be a major draw for the company, given their star power and their great in-ring abilities.
