Bianca Belair had defeated Becky Lynch at the 38th edition of the Grandest Stage of them All, WrestleMania 38 to become the new Raw Women’s Champion. The EST of WWE delivered what she had cliamed for months and her revenge for Becky Lynch squashing her in 26 seconds at SummerSlam 2022 was finally completed at the most stupendous two night event in WWE history.
WrestleMania Backlash aired on Peacock and the WWE network around the globe but the the top women’s champion of the WWE roster, Bianca Belair was not seen at the event. The EST didn’t have any matches at the premium live event which was a bit strange considering Belair’s position and push in the company.
While many assumptions have been made, Becky Lynch commented on Belair not appearing and defending her title at WrestleMania Backlash and said that she was a champion who defended her title at all the events. Here’s what Lynch wrote: “When I was champ, my title was defended on every ppv. #WWEBacklash”
While Lynch didn’t like Belair not appearing at the premium live event, the EST didn’t like Lynch’s comments and fired back at her saying: “Coming from the woman who literally HANDED her title over and lost it the last time she defended it… Girl, GTH. Don’t ever come for my work ethic and/or credibility… cause you tried it! And oh yeah, Happy Mother Days.💐”
Bianca Belair has not received a worthy challenge yet
The EST of WWE has not received any worthy challenger for her Raw Women’s Championship since her victory at WrestleMania 38. The champion was attacked and challenged by Sonya Deville a few weeks ago but the short-lived feud didn’t excite the WWE Universe very much. While it it still not revealed, Belair could be facing a huge challenger for the Raw Women’s Championship very soon.
