The Empress of Tomorrow was presented with a new belt this week on SmackDown. Charlotte Flair interrupted the moment when se made her most anticipated return. The Queen’s interference in the segment was for a reason, as she challenged the WWE Women’s Champion for a title match. Asuka accepted her challenge and the match was later made official for the Money in the Bank event.

Triple H took on the creative control of WWE after Vince McMahon’s retirement in July 2022. Fans have praised The Game for his work since he delivered some great events and shows at the start of his regime. On the other hand, fans have also criticized him for badly booking the Raw Women’s Championship.

Bianca Belair was the Raw Women’s Champion when Triple H took over the “Creative control.” The EST of WWE won her title at WrestleMania 38 and feuded with Becky Lynch till SummerSlam 2022. Ever since then, WWE booked her in random feuds. She had poor storylines and buildup for her matches.

Her feud with The Damage CTRL didn’t take away her title, but despite that, it gave nothing of a glory to her reign. Her next opponent, Alexa Bliss was set up for Bliss’ character change. It was Asuka who ended her 419-day reign at Night of Champions 2023 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
