Over the past few months, Bray Wyatt’s storyline has remained ambiguous. Ever since facing LA Knight, Wyatt has looked directionless and has been a part of baffling segments. He was involved in an obscure storyline revolving around Uncle Howdy. However, on this week’s episode of SmackDown, Wyatt probably revealed his plans going into WrestleMania 39. The Eater of Worlds announced that he would come after the winner of the match between Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar. Owing to this, Lashley issued a strong message after SmackDown, following the statement by Wyatt.

On the February 17 episode of SmackDown, Bray Wyatt and Uncle Howdy appeared in a segment following their ambush on The Hit Row. Wyatt said that at the Elimination Chamber, whoever wins between Lesnar and Lashley should better run. However, Bobby Lashley didn’t step back from commenting on the statement. The former WWE Champion retweeted the post by WWE and said, “Once I put Brock to bed tomorrow, you get your wish creep.” Lashley issued an unflinching message to Wyatt and told him that he would ready for him.

The segment on SmackDown is a clear indication that Bray Wyatt would have a program with either of the two superstars. However, Bray Wyatt, despite being a big name, has not done much since his WWE return. The Eater of Worlds was seen in his storytelling segments on SmackDown, adding layers to his character. However, the slow storytelling has left the fans bored. As WrestleMania is around the corner, WWE wants to have major programming for their top stars, including Wyatt. Thus, the WWE Universe might see the inception of a new storyline for Wyatt.

Therefore, it’s likely that Bray Wyatt would face either Brock Lesnar or Bobby Lashley at the Grandest Stage of Them All. Moreover, the WWE Universe would love to see Wyatt involved in a fresh feud ahead of WrestleMania 39. Also, there’s a possibility that the 35-year-old might interrupt the match between Lashley and Lesnar. Thus, the Elimination Chamber would be a must-see show for the fans.

One of the most anticipated names to return to the company under Triple H was Bray Wyatt. He has been one of the top stars in the company, giving some of the most bewildering and spine-chilling segments. However, WWE teased his return for months, with hints dropped here and there to the WWE Universe. Various vignettes and QR codes were shown to hype up the mysterious return. As a result, the fans were on the edge of their seats to witness the arrival of the leader of the darkness.

Wyatt finally made his return to WWE in October 2022, on Extreme Rules. With his return, he spellbound the fans with his storytelling and revealed the layers of his character in the subsequent segments on SmackDown. However, the fans lost interest when the character development went on at a very slow pace and WWE didn’t involve him in any major storylines. With time, the hype surrounding Wyatt and the inquisitiveness of the fans started to crumble. Furthermore, the company pitted Wyatt against LA Knight, which most fans despised.

Thus, the fans believe that one of the most hyped returns in WWE turned out to be a letdown. They believe that WWE could have done much more interesting things for Wyatt. However, they have shown some interest in the storyline of Uncle Howdy and Bray Wyatt. Hence, it remains interesting to see what the future holds for Wyatt ahead of WrestleMania 39.
