In one of the most powerful and intriguing rivalries of the year, the short, crisp, but impactful feud between Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar cannot be ruled out of the history. The two men tore each other down throughout their meetings but couldn’t get a clean finish to any of their matches.
The two giant men met each other in the ring for the first time at Royal Rumble 2022 when Bobby Lashley challenged the Beast for the WWE Championship. After a spear by Universal Champion Roman Reigns to Brock Lesnar, Lashley was allowed to pin the champion and get victory over the former King of the Ring winner.
Bobby Lashley recently appeared in an appearance on WWE the Bump and revealed how much he wanted a rematch with the Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar after the two couldn’t be a part of a proper singles match with no interferences. Lashley revealed that he couldn’t beat the former WWE Champion like whe wanted to but if he got another opportunity, he would surely beat the Beast on his terms. Here’s what he said:
“We’re in L.A. next year, right, for WrestleMania? If we’re in Hollywood it’s a big matchup. For me, I’ve always had these really tough challenges going into WrestleMania, which, of course this one- it has to be another big one. Me and Brock [Lesnar], we still have a little score to settle. I have a win over him and then he ended up winning my title back but we’re not done. We’re not done.”
Bobby Lashley has been battling a lot of giant men this year
With almost half of the year gone, Bobby Lashley has battled some of the biggest men in WWE. Excluding Brock Lesnar, Lashley battled Big E at WWE Day 1 and is currently feud with the giant Omos who has aligned himself with MVP. Lashley and Omos recently met each other in a steel cage on Raw where Omos drove Lashley through the steel cage leading to the cage breaking and the Almighty getting both his feet touching the floor first.
