WWE Hall of Famer Booker T is a mega star of his time in WWE he was most famous because of his good in-ring skills and excellent mic skills which he showed in his every single promo even more than that his mic skills were so good he even was a commentator for some time and even gives special commentary segments on Raw sometimes.
Booker T has done a lot and one of the things which made his career from good to excellent in a few months was when he won the King of the Ring as he then carries forward to play one of the best king gimmicks of WWE history. He is known as the best person ever to win the King of The Ring crown. He then had a gimmick where he was King Booker and was always accompanied by his wife Sharmell who then became Queen Sharmell.
Booker T has done legendary storylines and one of them was with another WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle. Both of them were in a storyline where Kurt was portraying a staker role and he was stalking King Booker’s wife Sharmell this led to a lot of controversies and even led to one of the good matches between the two former World Champions.
Booker T on a recent podcast revealed that he never had a problem with that storyline as he knew Kurt Angle is a nice guy and all of this thing is just work it will get over after some time and it is never going to enter between his marriage or ruin it or something it’s just our match, we need to do it we need to work for it.
Booker’s statement was, “Kurt Angle, he beats himself up because of that angle because you know, it had sex involved and he’s stalking, but Kurt Angle never touched Sharmell once. Never once. We were never in a position where, you know, anything could not have remotely happened. Sharmell is an actress. She’s an actor, you know what I mean? Some of the stuff I hear her, you know, sometimes I walk in, and she’s, you know, sitting on the sofa, crying. I’m like, ‘What’s going?’ She said, “I’m practicing for a role.”
Kurt Angle on the storyline with Booker T
In recent times Kurt has retired from his second run in WWE which already ended in a disaster. He didn’t even get a proper send-off and had a lot of bad matches in the company in the second run over and over the second run flopped. After his retirement when he was asked about the storyline, he replied I never liked it, it was awful it made him a lot of un-comfortability as he was never the type of guy who does this kind of thing.
