Triple H has transformed the current WWE product. While assuming his duties, the 14-time World Champion pledged to provide the best content. That just didn’t came from sensible booking. As a matter of fact, the King of Kings brought back several released superstars who were abruptly fired under the previous regime.

The hiring spree ain’t slowing down anytime soon. However, former World Heavyweight Champion Booker T has stressed on former TNA Superstar Nick Aldis to be the next name to sign with WWE. Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, King Booker pounced heavy praise on the Englishman. Putting emphasis on Aldis’ sky-rocketed brand value, the WWE Hall of Famer is pretty high on the 36-year old.

“I said Nick Aldis, he could make an impression. You know, people talk about, you know, I said Nick Aldis is past his prime. And I said that because Nick Aldis is not 25 to 35. That’s when you make your most money in this business, right? You know, as far as making you name from 25 to 35. Nick Aldis is just making it to the big time if he was to come to WWE at 38 [36] years old. That right there is past his prime. Can he make a difference? Can he make some good good money? Oh, hell yeah. Sign him up.”

Neglecting the fact that Nick has already passed his prime, Booker is all about urging the 242 pounder to ink a deal with WWE. Also, Nick in general, is one of the greatest wrestlers to ever exist on the independent circuit. Plus, The Big ‘O’ has been a 2-time TNA World Champion. After garnering massive shine with NWA (National Wrestling Alliance), he finally requested his release on November 6, last year.

In two weeks from now, WWE will present their 36th annual Royal Rumble event. With names like The Rock and Steve Austin rumored to make an appearance, fans are curious to know any surprise entrants from free agents. That being said, Nick Aldis is probably the hottest one of them who’s yet to make a decision about his next destination.

However, Triple H has the power to link Mickie James‘ husband with WWE. Also, per Xero News’ Patreon post, Nick Aldis is listed internally for a surprise entry in the Royal Rumble match. In a decision that would pop many, Nick Aldis has actually a great chance to align himself with the Stamford-based promotion.

Now, with such obvious hype for Aldis, one may think the decision for Triple H to bring him on-board is a no-brainer. Having spent around two decades in this business, the 36-year old British wrestler can be a great addition to WWE’s roster. In a short span of time, he can actually rise up the ranks under Triple H’s supervision.
