Brandi Rhodes has issued a warning towards Rhea Ripley

Well, does this how WWE reintroduces Brandi Rhodes on their programming? After what happened on Raw last night, that pretty much looks the case. As seen, Cody Rhodes was this week’s guest on The Miz TV. However, he wasn’t the only one to sit down for the interview. Moments after Rhodes took a seat, Dominik Mysterio & Rhea Ripley crashed the party.

They were quick to enter the ring and dish out some disrespect towards the American Nightmare. Rubbing salt on the wounds, Mysterio termed Rhodes as “little birdie with a broken wing“. Taking a shot at his own father Rey, Dominik called The Prodigal Son as a deadbeat dad for not attending his daughter and showing up to work. After listening enough, Cody decided to return some of the kind words guided by the modern day Latino Heat.

Referencing Mysterio’s hard prison storyline, Rhodes said that it was worse than his own infamous neck tattoo. However, what probably would’ve ached Dom the most was when Cody said, “Rey Mysterio has made some terrible mistakes, and I know that as I’m looking at one”. After a ferocious back-and-forth war of words, Dominik sneakily slapped Cody. The American Nightmare was about to humble the 25-year-old before Rhea Ripley came in his way.

Saving her Dom-Dom, she ensured that Cody doesn’t creates any violence. And just like every other male superstar has done to Ripley until now, Cody Rhodes held himself back. After this segment, Brandi Rhodes took to her Twitter and said, “Papa won’t hit Mami… but Mommi will.” Since this public assertion, the rumor mill is running rampant as they believe that Cody Rhodes’ wife is on her way back to WWE sooner than later.

Is WWE planning a return match for Brandi Rhodes alongside her husband Cody Rhodes?

Since Rhea Ripley is currently running out of challengers for her SmackDown Women’s title, she’s playing with men. That being said, it appears like WWE is preparing her for a tag-team showdown in London. After what transpired on Raw, Brandi Rhodes has teased joining her husband Cody very soon.

When she returns, that will eventually even up the odds. A highly unexpected yet entertaining bout is on the horizon, quite possibly at Money in the Bank, with The Rhodes taking on Dom & his Mami next month. It’s now being reported that the promotion has decided Cody’s third match with Brock Lesnar would happen at SummerSlam.

Keeping that detail in mind and Cody not looking likely for a Money in the Bank ladder match spot, it’s better he’s doing something on the show. It remains to be seen how WWE propels this storyline potentially leading to Brandi’s television return to WWE after years.
