The latest episode of SmackDown was an emotional show for fans and superstars. The show started with a ten-bell salute to honor Bray Wyatt and his life. After an emotional video package, Rey Mysterio came out to have the first match of the night. He was facing Grayson Waller in the opening contest. Mysterio could be seen wearing an arm band with TF-BW on it.

This was Mysterio’s homage to WWE Hall of Famers Terry Funk and Bray Wyatt, who passed away in the last two days. Even during the match, Rey used Wyatt’s moves on Waller as he used Wyatt’s iconic clothesline and then a senton on Waller for a near fall. The legendary luchador was interrupted by Austin Theory, who helped Waller.

However, he was soon attacked by Santos Escobar, who came down to help Mysterio. This resulted in the Hall of Famer getting a victory as he stood in the ring with Escobar, looking at Theory and Waller. A match has been announced for next week’s SmackDown, where Santos Escobar and Rey Mysterio will team up to take on Austin Theory and Grayson Waller.
