Vince McMahon NEVER wanted Bray Wyatt to make a return to the company under him

Bray Wyatt and Vince McMahon

In the final moments of WWE Premium Event Extreme Rules, Bray Wyatt stunned everyone by making his eagerly anticipated comeback to the organization. Everyone was certain that Wyatt would not attend Extreme Rules because, following the fight pit bout, WWE rights and reserved claim surfaced, ending the event without Wyatt.

But as soon as the lights went out, everything changed. After the characters from Firefly Funhouse came to life, everyone knew exactly what was going on and that the Eaters of the World had returned to the promotion in a way that made it one of the best comebacks in pro wrestling history.

In the summer of 2021, one of the top WWE performers, Bray Wyatt, was released by Vince McMahon, shocking the entire globe. Triple H strongly disagreed with this notion and persuaded Vince to change his mind because it would affect Wyatt’s clothing sales in general.

Bray Wyatt was let go by Vince McMahon despite Triple H’s advice. Everything changed, but when Vince unexpectedly chose to stand down as the WWE CEO and Creative Head of the company, Triple H assumed the position. In his first week in the position, he made it apparent that he intended to bring in some significant returns.

Being a well-known name among the many who returned to the organisation, such as Karrian Kross, Johnny Gargano, and Dakota Kai, Bray Wyatt was among the first names to be confirmed to do so. All of them have been verified by Fightfull, who also claimed that WWE is currently looking good.

They said, “Several WWE sources had been playing up Extreme Rules as a “big night” to media ahead of the weekend. As early as one week after Vince McMahon’s retirement, members of the new WWE regime told Fightful they felt optimistic about Wyatt’s return. A full month before Wyatt returned to WWE, one WWE source was completely convinced that Wyatt was back with WWE and heading back.”
