The Rock’s business partner goes off on Cody Rhodes while claiming he told the former about his “goofy a** dog”
Brian Gewirtz takes a stand for The Rock against Cody Rhodes.

If The Rock isn’t present to carry out his deeds, his PR agency backs it up with authority. This week on Raw, Cody Rhodes had a resplendent array of adjectives for The Great One. From alleging him of having a “little d**k syndrome” to calling the 51-year-old Roman Reigns‘ sidekick, Rhodes was relentless. He even gave a shout-out to Brian Gewirtz, Rock’s business partner, for coming up with “The Final Boss” sobriquet for him.
However, it doesn’t seem like Gewirtz wants to take the credit. Taking it to X, the SVP of Development at Seven Bucks Productions debunked Rhodes’ claim of coining the aforementioned nickname for Dwayne Johnson. Brian said Rock calls himself that because he is The Final Boss. Nonetheless, the former WWE lead writer then pulled some strings while affirming that he was indeed the one to notify the Black Adam star about Cody’s “goofy a** dog.”

Less needs to be said about how belittling the Hollywood actor has been towards Pharoah, Cody Rhodes‘ dog. A few weeks ago, Rock even called The American Nightmare’s pet a “sh*thead.” And if that wasn’t enough, Dwayne has now dragged Rhodes’ mother into it. Responding to Johnson’s vigorous remarks at his mother, Rhodes brought up The People’s Champ’s mother too during his promo last night.
“Final Boss” isn’t anything I came up with. @TheRock calls himself that because he is that. If it makes you feel better @CodyRhodes, I was the first to tell him about your spectacularly stupid goofy ass dog.Brian Gewirtz on X
However, the 38-year-old said that she was a wonderful lady. And he hoped that The Rock would be as respectful towards Michelle Rubio too. The Prodigal Son shed some light on whether Rock still has what it takes to go in the ring. Fans thought Rhodes was one ticked individual and rightfully spewed what he needed to on Raw. He landed the right shots, especially after that playful response he had following last week’s SmackDown.
The Rock is returning to WWE Raw in two weeks
For those who’re wondering when The Rock will be on WWE television again, there’s good news. As announced during Raw last night, The Brahma Bull will appear on the red brand in Brooklyn on April 1.

It will serve as the go-home edition of Monday Night Raw heading into WrestleMania XL. After having three consecutive appearances on SmackDown, the TKO board member is taking a week or two off. However, despite the fun, his promos actually engendered a discourse.
WWE talents were allegedly upset about having to hold back on cursing while The Rock did not. Voices of “double standards” were raised amidst reports of the FOX network walking on eggshells, owing to The Great One’s profanity-laden hurls.
