Brock Lesnar was one of the 30 superstars to take part in this year’s men’s Royal Rumble match, but he couldn’t make much of an impact in it. The Beast Incarnate lasted just three minutes into the match before Bobby Lashley eliminated him. As a result, he threw a temper tantrum at the ringside. While most of it was planned, he reportedly went off-script in a few spots.

According to Fightful Select, the spot where Lesnar threw a piece of the announce table into the ring wasn’t known to anyone. One talent even said that they knew about the freakout beforehand, but “it’s Brock, so expect anything and everything.” However, it was a later spot that garnered heat for the Beast, where he attacked a referee.

Fightful Select wrote in their report, “the spot that seemed to get Lesnar a bit of heat was an unplanned situation was when referee Eddie Orengo was thrown over the barricade. We’re told that initially, it looked like he possibly sustained a foot injury, but we’re not sure of the status of Orengo. He was supposed to be the ref that raised Cody Rhodes’ hand at the end of the match, which was changed when he had to sell to the back.” Fightful also notes that the implications of this “heat” are not yet known. While he will not be fired from the company, for sure, they don’t know if the people in the administration are mad about it or not.

What are the WrestleMania plans for Brock Lesnar?

Brock Lesnar is one of the biggest superstars in WWE. Hence, it is natural for him to be at the company’s Biggest Show of the year in April. Lesnar made his shocking return at Raw 30 and followed it up with an appearance on SmackDown. On both shows, he attacked Bobby Lashley, trying to refuel his rivalry with the All Mighty. However, this rivalry could end before the Show of Shows.

While WWE hasn’t announced him for the show, Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that the Beast will be at the Elimination Chamber event. Some fans suspect that this could be the third match between Lesnar and Lashley. This would leave Lesnar open for another match at WrestleMania, which could be against another big name.

It was reported last month that Gunther and Brock Lesnar could go against each other at the Grandest Stage. This encounter was teased in the men’s Royal Rumble match as well when both of them came face-to-face without trading any blows. It would be refreshing to see the Beast Incarnate go for the Intercontinental title for a change. Whether he faces Bobby Lashley or Gunther, the WWE Universe can bet that Brock Lesnar will be in Hollywood for the Showcase of the Immortals.
