When he was in NXT, Bronson Reed was one of the finest wrestlers. He was large, charismatic, and too skilled in the ring. Everyone expected him to be one of WWE’s biggest future stars. Everyone was surprised when he was released from the company but then he joined NJPW.

Sean Sapp of Fightful recently claimed that Triple H admired the former NXT North American Champion. Triple H wanted him back in the firm as quickly as possible. He was on this quest after taking over as creative director. But it took some time because NJPW signed Reed.

Despite the fact that NJPW was searching for sign Reed once again, it appears that the big man had other intentions. He spoke with Triple H and has already determined that when his contract with NJPW expires, he would return to the WWE. This happened last night during the bout between Miz and Dexter Lumis.

The Report stated, “We’re told that NJPW wanted to retain Reed and was hopeful he stayed. We’d long been told that Bronson Reed was a priority hire for Triple H when he gained power within WWE. We can confirm he’s been inked to a contract. He is done with New Japan Pro Wrestling unless WWE brokers a deal to allow it, which hasn’t been done yet.”
