WWE’s Holiday Tour started last week and is likely to continue until the end of December. The two nights of this weekend saw stars, mostly from Raw and some from SmackDown. In the semi-main event spot of both shows, Gunther kept his Intercontinental Championship on the line against three others. But on Sunday, the Fatal 4-Way took a Déjà vu-esque turn when Bronson Reed got a hard knock on his ‘meat’ like he did even on NXT.

The December 10, 2023, live event from State College, PA, happened at Bryce Jordan Center. Gunther defended his title against The Miz, Ricochet, and Reed. During an instance in the match, Bronson was tired and held the ring to relax a bit. But the athleticism of Ricochet was at its best as he jumped in from the apron to attempt a Sunset-flip Powerbomb on him. Although he was unsuccessful in it, The A-Lister saw a sinister move in here.

Miz saw the opportunity to take down both Ricochet and Reed by launching the former between the latter’s legs. The agony on Bronson’s face was visible as Ricochet went head-first into his groin. Bronson has shared this pain on his X by posting a video of this incident. An edited version of the real clip zooms in on Reed’s reaction and shows his suffering. While the caption says out loud that he cares for his ‘meat’.

The match was a well-fought battle between the four stars for the Intercontinental Championship. The close falls and false finishes allowed the match to be entertaining and fast-paced. But in the end, The Ring General dominated the match and retained his title to continue his record-breaking reign.

Bronson Reed’s ‘meat’ suffered even on an episode of NXT

Bronson Reed was in the race to reclaim the NXT North American Championship last month. A Fatal 4-Way match for a title shot at Dominik Mysterio‘s North American Title at NXT Deadline was scheduled. Former champions like Reed, Johnny Gargano, and Cameron Grimes were in the bout with Wes Lee.

On the November 28, 2023, episode of NXT, Grimes attempted a Sunset-flip on Reed. But the heavyweight Bronson disallowed him to come down and allowed Lee to do a crossbody jump. But from behind, Gargano launched Cameron, who lay under Bronson, up to collide between Reed’s legs.

The expression of the 35-year-old changed quickly as he even let Lee fall on the mat. He was seen in distress and sold the painful-looking move in the best way possible. This even justifies his loss in that match, as Lee then took advantage in the matchup and pinned Grimes for his victory.
