WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley celebrated her 27th birthday on October 11 this year. Several friends and peers in and out of WWE came forward to extend their birthday wishes to The Eradicator, including her real-life partner, Buddy Matthews. The AEW star recently penned a heartwarming birthday wish for his girlfriend on social media.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Buddy Matthews wrote, “Happy Birthday to my Rock! You are an absolute superstar, a workhorse & one hell of a partner in crime! Love you! If ya smellllllll… what I’m cooking for breakfast in bed! ?,” sending an adorable birthday wish to his girl. He coupled his caption with a snazzy picture of Rhea Ripley recreating The Rock’s black turtleneck and blingy chain look.

The 35-year-old amusingly played a little with words and made The Rock references in his caption. Describing Mami as his “Rock”, the AEW superstar wittily used The Brahma Bull’s famous catchphrase to talk about what he “cooked” for breakfast in bed for his fiancé. Ripley later commented under the post, saying, “Thank you ?❤️ love you!!”

Although Ripley is involved in an onscreen relationship with Dominik Mysterio, the Women’s World Champion is dating Buddy Matthews in real life. Moreover, the couple announced their engagement in August this year. Furthermore, the latter is an active member of the AEW roster alongside Malakai Black and Brody King of the House of Black.
