WrestleMania is just a few weeks away, and every wrestling fan is excited to see the rematch between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. Not only fans, but WWE legends are anticipated for one of the biggest matches of the year. Recently, Bubba Ray Dudley came up with a ridiculous angle for The American Nightmare to make this feud more exciting.
Bubba Ray Dudley spoke on the Busted Open podcast about the specific angle that he wanted WWE to implement. He suggested that on Night 1 of WrestleMania, The Rock and Roman Reigns should not only win the match but also heavily injure Cody Rhodes‘ torn bicep. Bubba stated that WWE should plan the injury angle going into Night 2, so it would make more sense for Rhodes to win against all odds.

I want Roman and Rock to go over Night 1... Imagine if, on Night 1 in the tag match, they targeted Cody's torn bicep. It has been put back together, but an injury is never repaired 100% injuries have memory just like muscles have memory. This story, other than one pretty major speed bump, has been told in a great way since day one.Bubba Ray Dudley via Busted Open podcast
In this 4-way rivalry, Rhodes and Rocky are the front runners, with both men throwing verbal jabs at one another. However, it got more intense and personal when Rhodes slapped The Great One for insulting his family.
Rhodes and Seth Rollins accepted his challenge and will look forward to beating the cousins in a tag match. If the duo wins the match, then his world title match against Reigns will be free from the entire Bloodline. However, if they lose, then it will be stipulated as a Bloodline Rules match, where anything goes.
Cody Rhodes’ creative input in his theme song revealed
One of the things that connects a pro wrestler to the fans is the theme song. There are a few entrance songs that match the star’s persona. Without a doubt, one of those theme songs is Cody Rhodes’ entrance called ‘Kingdom’. Now, the band that created the song has revealed how much input The American Nightmare had into it.

One fan asked the Downstait band about Rhodes’s creative input behind his theme song. They revealed that the two-time Royal Rumble winner asked for lyrics that described the relationship between him and his father, Dusty Rhodes. Downstait further added that many fans misunderstood a line, thinking that it was a shot at WWE, but it simply wasn’t.
He said he liked the message of BMTH’s Throne (f___ you then, watch me shine), and wanted lyrics that reflected his relationship with Dusty. While many interpret “You took my dreams, but not my name” as a shot at WWE, it also represents life taking Dusty, but not Cody’s identity.Downstait on X
Rhodes’ theme song is one of the most popular ones in modern times. He has already shown that he is more than capable of being the face of the company for years to come. Now, all he needs in this fairytale-like second run is the WWE Championship. Having said that, it will be interesting to see whether the 38-year-old finally finishes his story at WrestleMania or not.
