Cathy Kelley has been one of the successful acquisitions of the new WWE regime. While her presentation backstage is flawless, she’s created a lot of enemies off-screen as well. Without a doubt, the interviewer’s biggest rival seems to be Grayson Waller. The pair has thrown shots at each other for the past few months, with the latest one by Kelley seemingly hurting Australians and her alleged ex-girlfriend, Rhea Ripley.
In an interview with Waller, the 35-year-old replied to the Arrogant Aussie’s comment about his jaw. As a result, the latter took it as an insult to his culture in general. A fan posted the clip online backing the former NXT star’s claims, stating that Cathy turned ‘heel’ on the people of Australia. Therefore, the WWE personality defended herself on ‘X’.

She opined that her comments were seemingly a reply to Grayson Waller calling her dog ‘ugly’. Meanwhile, Cathy Kelley addressed how The Eradicator would feel listening to her statement about Australians. The backstage interviewer hilariously implied that the duo would have to fight and make up yet again. This was supposedly a reference to their online on-and-off relationship.
Cathy might have to watch out as WWE heads to Australia for Elimination Chamber in February. The native superstars, such as Ripley and Waller, will surely play a big role at the Optus Stadium in Perth. The Judgment Day member is speculated to compete in a marquee bout, which might headline the PLE.
Cathy Kelley reacts to Rhea Ripley meeting The Rock backstage
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson returned on the Day 1 edition of Raw, setting up a future battle with Roman Reigns. Later, The Great One shared his backstage experience on Instagram and dedicated a different post to Rhea Ripley. As a result, Cathy Kelley reacted to the post.

The 35-year-old personality welcomed The Rock to the “Mami fan club.” Kelley was clearly elated for The Eradicator gaining mainstream exposure via The People’s Champion. The latter created shockwaves in the wrestling community, sparking speculation on the Road to WrestleMania.
In fact, The Rock might show up at Elimination Chamber next month. However, it looks unlikely that he will wrestle at the event. It will be interesting to see how the Universal Title scene at the Showcase of Immortals plays out.
