Charlotte Flair has been absent from the WWE since May of this year. Despite numerous rumors of her return to WWE since her hiatus, none of them came true. The Queen’s last outing in the WWE was at WrestleMania Backlash, where she was defeated by Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Because the Royal Rumble is full of surprises, fans can expect to see Flair at the event.
Flair had taken time off from the WWE as she wanted to marry her long-time boyfriend, Andrade. On May 27th, a number of WWE Superstars attended the wedding in Mexico. Finn Balor, Rey Mysterio, Nia Jax, Apollo Crews, and many more were present at the wedding. Ric Flair, Charlotte’s father, was also present at the wedding.
Flair and Andrade had been dating since 2019, and Andrade was also a part of WWE at the time. Andrade was granted a release by WWE in March 2021. Andrade has been a member of AEW since June 2021, and he also got the opportunity to compete for the AEW World Championship against Hangman Page last year, but he did not win.
Andrade and Flair have great chemistry with each other, and they frequently share pictures of their romantic getaways on social media. Today Flair posted a picture of herself with her husband, where they seem to have recreated the iconic “Come to Daddy” scene from Wolf of Wall Street. The photography looks brilliant and has captured their emotions very well.

Except winning the Money in the Bank contract, Charlotte Flair has achieved everything in the WWE. She is one of the most talented wrestlers of her generation, having been one of the first women to headline a PPV event and one of the first to headline at WrestleMania. Flair’s bouts always have a place among the best matches in WWE history.
During a recent edition of To Be The Man Podcast, Ric Flair compared Sasha Banks to Ricky Steamboat and his daughter to himself. Flair said that it’s always great to see Flair and Banks work together. The WWE Hall of Famer stated that they are the two premier female wrestlers he has seen in his entire life.

“I keep telling she’s Ricky Steamboat and Ashley [Charlotte Flair] is me…… I have no problem saying this, they are the two premier female wrestlers that I’ve ever seen in my entire life,”
The WWE Universe might get to see both Flair and Banks surprise them at the Royal Rumble. The Queen, having won the Royal Rumble once in her career, may also become the first woman to win the match twice in her career.
