“Age is nothing more than a number.” This is only a quote, but Chris Jericho has proven it correct in real life. The 52-year-old wrestler is the current ROH World Champion and is defending it regularly on live TV, embarrassing the biggest names associated with ROH in the process.

Chris Jericho took a chance on AEW in 2019 and helped Tony Khan grow the promotion into what it is now. Jericho brought in many fans for the company and even attracted other wrestlers with his signing. If anyone has any doubts about the company, Jericho is always ready to clear them.

A fan recently tweeted an interesting message in which he referred to AEW as an amateur hour, which was really disrespectful. Jericho replied to the insults by telling the fan to f**k his a**, forcing him to shut his mouth.

The man who made the comment deleted his tweet after Jericho’s response and the backlash that followed. Many AEW fans praised Jericho for standing up to a troll who had no respect for what they bring on the screens for entertainment.

Chris is a pretty good ROH Champion defending the title many times. He successfully defended his championship on the AEW Pay-Per-View Full Gear against three top stars; Bryan Danielson, Sammy Guevara, and Claudio Castagnoli.

Following that, Chris recently defended the championship on AEW Dynamite, defeating Tomohiro Ishii. People enjoyed the competition, and everyone appreciated Jericho’s efforts. After all, it isn’t easy to perform at the highest level despite being over 50 years old.

Chris Jericho has openly expressed his desire to end his professional wrestling career in AEW. This implies that we will never see the former World Champion inside a WWE ring. While it is sad for fans that want to see him there one last time, it is what it is.
