The Ninth Wonder of the World, the late Chyna, was one of the leading female stars in the Attitude Era of WWE. Her manliness and dominance in the company were the reasons she made it to the top and revolutionized the women’s division. Meanwhile, her real-life relationship with Triple H had become a topic of discussion when she was cheated by him.

It was because the on-screen relationship between The Game and Stephanie McMahon soon turned into a real-life love angle within a year. Chyna stated in a podcast with Opie Radio back in 2016 that she used to love Triple H. But their four-year-long relationship crumbled with the entry of Stephanie McMahon.

The late superstar stated that she was unaware of their relationship and that she was sticking to her man against the odds. But her doubts about their relationship increased as some rumors arose about their bonding. However, those were denied by The Game, who stated everything was fine.

Stephanie McMahon was paired with Triple H in storylines, and they eventually started dating. Chyna revealed that she found out when she saw a love letter in his briefcase written by Steph stating, how much she loved him. The notable thing about it was that it dated back a year ago, which made him aware of the year-long affair. Chyna said that she did not have any thoughts about taking action, as she did not want to make a lateral move out of it.

The King of Kings dated Chyna from 1996 until 2000. Their relationship began when the late superstar was a bodyguard for him in the iconic faction D-Generation X. Then she developed her persona and performed as an individual star. She achieved quite a bit of success including championship wins and a prominent Royal Rumble appearance.

The aftermath of Chyna being aware of Triple H’s year-long affair

The year-long affair between Triple H and Stephanie McMahon was unknown to his then-girlfriend Chyna. But she discovered it when she found a note in his briefcase addressing McMahon’s love. There were various rumors about the couple’s affair, but neither Chyna believed them nor were they accepted by Triple H.

She then took a bold step and called Vince McMahon right after she learned about the affair. Mr. McMahon stated that he would see her on Monday and promised to address the situation. As soon as she entered the building, she felt a polarization among stars who got to know HHH’s affair and supported Chyna thereafter.

But the issue arose later when Vince stated that she would fax her a new contract. Getting home, a few days later, she received a fax stating that they don’t need her anymore. She left the company in 2001 to reduce the tension between her and Stephanie. But other reports also stated that her demands were unacceptable for WWE.
