The year 2023 was a huge draw in the world of professional wrestling. WWE experienced a massive boom in its popularity and has reached a point that they have always strived to achieve. The Stamford-based promotion is entering 2024 and are equally geared up for the big things. As a matter of fact, superstars have also set their goals regarding WWE and look forward to achieving them.

In a video posted by WWE on their social handles, stars were asked about 2024 goals. Starting with the talk of the town, CM Punk, he took a moment of sigh and stated to remind everybody that he is indeed the ‘Best in the World‘. Next up was his arch-rival, Seth Rollins, who stated to top even the last year and be at his best. Adding to it, a personal achievement would be being the best father and husband.

Jumping onto Kofi Kingston, a hilarious moment waited for him there, along with Cody Rhodes. Kingston claimed to ‘finish his story’ and was interrupted by The American Nightmare, leading to his questioning whether he had a pivotal story. The Role Model Bayley stated she was hoping for “World Domination“. She hoped that the Kabuki Warriors would win the Women’s Tag Team Championship. As for her, she clarified winning the Royal Rumble to beat Rhea Ripley for the World Women’s Championship.

Samantha Irvin, who was seen running away from a live event ramp, stated that she did not want to get taken out by a superstar. Mr. Money in the Bank Damian Priest, stated that he would cash in his contract before July and warned the champions about his plans. Becky Lynch thought of promoting her memoir, Becky Lynch: The Man: Not Your Average Average Girl and make everyone buy it in 2024.

Coming back to Kofi, he mentioned not even waiting for the New Year as he keeps on getting better. In an effort to get an answer from Cody, he claimed for one to keep getting worse if they don’t excel. Next up was Dominik Mysterio, who thinks of winning even more championship gold in 2024. Last but not least came Rhodes, who claimed to repeat one of Seth’s goals of being the best husband and father while adding the quintessential ‘story finish’ of his own.

CM Punk and Bayley might achieve their goals as early as in Royal Rumble 2024

As the new year 2024 has begun, the hype for WWE’s traditional January PLE will build up. Royal Rumble 2024 is set to commence at the Tropicana Field on January 27, 2024, with two fixed bouts. The men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches will pave the way for their winners to have a title shot at WrestleMania 40.

As of now, the betting odds and fan choices prefer seeing Bayley as the winner of the women’s Rumble. While a slight margin differs CM Punk from Cody Rhodes to walk out as the winner. With 29 other stars in the mix, it would be interesting to see how the equations work out in the electrifying matchup.

The plans for now see Punk main eventing the first night of Mania and challenging Seth Rollins. Bayley plans on challenging for the World Women’s Championship, but her plans will shape Damage CTRL’s internal rivalry. The Role Model might eventually face Iyo Sky for the WWE Women’s Championship.
