CM Punk’s Cult of Personality plays during a recent episode of Monday Night RAW, SmackDown superstar goes “NUTS”

CM Punk always remains a hot topic in the WWE even after leaving the company in 2014. The current AEW superstar is wrapped around controversies since his days in WWE. He is also currently suspended from TV Programming following his irresponsible and unprofessional actions at AEW All Out Media Scrum.

Punk had lashed out at EVP’s of the company and fellow wrestlers while AEW President Tony Khan was sitting with Punk listening to the rant. Also, the matter didn’t stop here but it escalated to a physical scuffle backstage involving CM Punk and other EVP’s of the company.

CM Punk’s theme Cult of Personality plays during Raw commercial, fans go crazy

Cm Punk Cult of Personality
Living Colour’s Cult of Personality has been Punk’s theme ever since the adoption of Straight Edge Superstar.

Whatever the case might be, you can’t deny the fact that Punk is still relevant and is one of the formidable but important figures of the transforming phase of professional wrestling. Punk’s character of Straight Edge Superstar got popular amongst fans who acted as a heel but was more popular than the babyface characters of the company.

Punk was established as a character opposing the authority and thus stood as the voice of the voiceless and got props for his mic skills and in-ring style. The character, the persona and what became more iconic was CM Punk‘s theme song “Cult of Personality”.

The popular song by Living Colour was just the perfect fit for Punk’s character which stood for Revolution and change. The same song was used for Punk’s debut in AEW and he still uses the same. Though Punk has not been mentioned on WWE Programming since his departure, Monday Night Raw was an exception.

The fans were shocked when Former WWE Champion’s theme Cult of Personality was played during an NFL Commercial for Aaron Rodgers. But it was not only the fans who went crazy, the current SmackDown superstar “Top Dolla” also went crazy when he heard the song.

After the moment Dolla tweeted that he was caught off guard when he heard the track during RAW’s AIR time on television. “Bro I went to the kitchen right before the commercial break and heard ‘Cult of Personality’ and almost dropped my damn food running back into the living room. That commercial play too much #WWERAW,” Dolla wrote on the micro-blogging website.
