“On the edge of a lightning bolt,” CM Punk teases a potential return to WWE
Former WWE superstar, CM Punk recently recalled one of his most glorious WrestleMania entrances at MetLife Stadium and hinted at his possible comeback to WWE.

CM Punk is perhaps one of the most controversial names in all of sports entertainment. Despite being a contentious figure, the Chicago superstar has been one of the preeminent wrestlers in the pro wrestling industry. Ever since his departure from AEW, fans haven’t heard much from him. However, Punk recently recounted one of his most iconic moments in WWE and perhaps teased a potential return to the company.
WrestleMania is known for some of the most spectacular entrances by superstars. However, the fans witnessed one such grand entrance at WrestleMania 29, when CM Punk appeared in the stadium. Living Colour, one of the most renowned musical bands, performed Punk’s theme song, “Cult of Personality,” at his entrance at MetLife Stadium. It was undoubtedly one of the most picturesque and electrifying entrances, leaving the fans with goosebumps.
Recalling the iconic entrance of Punk on its 10th anniversary, Living Colour posted a video on their Instagram handle. Moreover, they expressed their gratitude for performing Punk’s theme song at the MetLife Stadium. However, the former AEW star wasn’t reluctant to take a trip down memory lane. CM Punk reposted the video on his Instagram story and shared the iconic moment.
In addition to that, the 44-year-old also posted a picture of his entrance with Paul Heyman at MetLife Stadium on his Instagram story. In a very nostalgic caption, he wrote, “Ten years ago. Riding on the edge of a lightning bolt.⚡” However, his post with Heyman started speculations about his WWE return. Not only did Punk recount the resplendent entrance, but he also maybe teased a potential return to the company.
A lightning bolt is a term metaphorically used for someone who shocks, startles, and galvanizes their audience. Therefore, CM Punk believes it was one of his moments in WWE that invigorated the fans. The picture, along with the caption, gave rise to numerous speculations. Therefore, it will be interesting to see if Punk ever returns to WWE following his controversial career.

CM Punk reacted to his former AEW ally’s victory
Over the last few days, CM Punk’s Instagram story has captivated fans and become the subject of great discussion. Punk, who was suspended from AEW following a backstage altercation, hasn’t revealed much since. However, the 44-year-old recently took to his Instagram story to congratulate his former AEW friends on their victory.
The FTR won the AEW World Tag Team Championships in the main event of AEW Dynamite in an epic bout. Owing to this, CM Punk shared a picture of their winning celebration in his story. As a result, this became one of the hot topics among the fans.
