CM Punk‘s legendary feat is well recognised by the WWE Universe. With a massive career in the industry that started in 1999, Punk has earned his name in the world of professional wrestling. He became the 19th Triple Crown Champion and became the first wrestler to achieve this feat in the minimum time duration.
His career in the company fell more drastically than it went up. The WWE Superstar took leave from professional wrestling in 2014 after being a part of multiple controversies. He returned back to the world of professional wrestling in 2021 when he joined AEW.
During all his tenure in the company, CM Punk has been the talk of the town for some or the other reason. He never seemed to respect the achievements of his fellow superstars. Once, he went to the extent of praising Roman Reigns so much that the fans were left baffled.

Currently in AEW, CM Punk has caused distress among the management and the professionals. With his sharp tongue, he is ever ready to say whatever he wishes to say. He recently had been put out of the show due to his injury.
Roman Reigns rose from a tag team member to being an established player. Currently the WWE Undisputed Universal Champion, he is one of the leading champions that the world has ever had. He has been able to defeat everyone who came in between him and his title.
CM Punk had observed Roman Reigns’ dominance a long time back. He said that one thing that WWE has been doing right is Roman Reigns. The latter rose to his peak point in his career after his heel turn. Punk criticised WWE for not planning this 5 – 10 years ago.
Adding to the run of Roman Reigns in the company, Punk said, “Maybe he needed that adversity and that backlash to finally be this guy. He’s far and away the best guy they have. When you talk about storylines, in-ring work, and all that stuff, right now he’s the total package. For the first time in his career, and I’m not being mean to Roman Reigns, I just feel like he’s finally where they pushed him to be.”
Words like this coming from someone like CM Punk mean a lot. If we look back and compare the situation Roman Reigns is in now, CM Punk spoke the truth. Yet he criticised the management and this nature is causing problems for him in his career in AEW.
