The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes is known for sharing a great relationship with his fans. He often interacts with them after the show and gives them several items to take home as souvenirs. However, one bizarre request a fan made was after the latest episode of SmackDown. 

Cody Rhodes wasn’t part of the main show, but he wrestled against Drew McIntyre and won the match. A fan took to X and shared a video of him asking Rhodes for a hilarious favor. As he was making his way around the ringside, he asked for Rhea Ripley‘s chewing gum that was lying in the ring. Surprisingly enough, the star obliged and gave the fan the gum.

Along with this, the 38-year-old even gave one young fan a broken piece of table to take home. From the time of his return to WWE until now, Rhodes has proved that he could be the company’s face for years to come. All he needs to do to complete his fairytale-like second run in WWE is win the world championship at WrestleMania.

However, the path won’t be easy for him at all, as he will battle The Rock and Roman Reigns alongside Seth Rollins in a tag team match. If the duo wins the match, then his world title match against Reigns will be free from the entire Bloodline. However, if they lose, then it will be stipulated as a Bloodline Rules match, where anything goes.

The wrestling fans had a field day with the news of Cody Rhodes giving a fan Rhea Ripley’s chewing gum. Rhodes gave a hardcore fan Ripley’s discarded chewing gum, which caused quite a stir in the WWE universe.

One fan speculated that The American Nightmare would give everything and anything after the shows. Another fan said there would be someone ready to give a good amount of money to buy that gum online. Here are some of the top reactions from fans:

One user joked about the whole incident and said Rhodes could even give some wrestler’s wrestling gear if possible.
