The Second City Saint’s return is causing huge tides in the wrestling business. Even the WWE Press Conference after Survivor Series 2023 mostly had questions about the CM Punk. In the same current, Cody Rhodes was enquired about his reaction to Punk’s return. Rhodes seemed pumped up as he described how the Stamford-based company has emerged as an undeniable promotion.

Rhodes talked about how Punk is most welcomed if he wishes to contribute to their journey. He believes that the version of CM Punk that has arrived in the company is much hungrier. The former Royal Rumble 2023 winner considers it as a very affirmative state for WWE. He further congratulated Triple H and Nick Khan for doing what they do best. To quote him:

If he can help with where we're going and what we're doing, absolutely, welcome aboard. I have a feeling that the CM Punk we're potentially getting is hungry, and that's the best. I'll give kudos and flowers to Triple H and Nick Khan for getting that done. But the first thing always is business. [It] feels like everybody wants to be here.

Such a strong state of WWE defines how desirable a destination it has become in the world of professional wrestling. Additionally, he talked about how that return has given birth to such strong emotions that young boys & girls are full of vigor. However, in the end, he reiterates the primacy that the profitability of business occupies even in such decisions. So, in the present equation, CM Punk is what is best for business. The American Nightmare has nothing to state otherwise.

Cody Rhodes was the real victor at Survivor Series War Games

WWE Fans saw an exhilarating men’s War Games match at Survivor Series 2023. The team of Cody Rhodes, Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins, Sami Zayn, Jey Uso, and Randy Orton defeated Judgment Day and Drew McIntyre decisively. It was the American Nightmare who dropped Damian Priest with the Cross Rhodes. It ultimately sealed the deal.

The contest was also notable for the return of Randy Orton. The multi-time World Champion was out since May 2022 because of a back injury. His return had multiple layers of story-telling. Fans wanted to see how he would react to the presence of Jey Uso. The same man who had a big hand in his injury.

Fans were instantly assured of their victory once the Legend Killer’s music reached their years. He gave several highlights in the match. Arguably the best one was with JD McDonagh. The Irish Ace was thrown off from the top of the cage. Moreover, he was on the receiving end of a devastating RKO that could’ve ended it all. However, unlike the usual reports of him turning on the American Nightmare, the Viper instead acted as a team player. He allowed him to do the pinfall on the superstar who tried to mock his story.
