Standing at the top of mountain right now is Cody Rhodes. A man who’s been the Talk of the Town since his unimaginable jump to WWE, is now making travel plans to WrestleMania 39. The journey has been a quite topsy-turvy affair for The American Nightmare. After he tore his pectoral muscle right off the bone, the world seemed to end for Rhodes. However, he remained unflappable during the time being and made his comeback at the Royal Rumble.

Since then, he’s graced the WWE programming with his inevitable presence. The shows are starting to feel even more important with Rhodes being back at the base. But the one thing that caught even the Prodigal Son by surprise, is the way his theme song has been treated, as of late. His track, namely ‘Kingdom’ is quickly becoming a household thing. Plus, it’s been rapidly getting added to everyone’s playlists.

This past week on Raw in Brooklyn, the NYC welcomed Cody Rhodes with a deafening ovation. More importantly, majority of them serenaded the vocals, all way along. Pointing the same, USA Today’s Phil Strum tweeted, “One of the coolest parts of the Barclays show on Monday was the crowd singing along with ‘Kingdom’ and not just the ‘woooooooah’ part. So fun. Enjoy this.”

Well, The American Nightmare didn’t took long to respond. He basically expressed his own dumbfoundedness after realizing how over his theme song has gotten. Cody knew that people were versed with the ‘something-something’ stuff of the Downstait produced track. Well, at the end of the day, it’s just the perfect alignment of all stars.

Just when Rhodes did that Bullet Club pointing at the WrestleMania logo after winning the Rumble match, he vowed to finish the story. A tale which started last year, is yet to receive a wholesome conclusion. Also, by the end of tonight, Dusty’s baby boy will know his final opponent for the pop-culture extravaganza in Los Angeles. So being said, Sami Zayn will enter the battleground against Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at the Elimination Chamber.

The Master Strategist will look to pull off an upset of all eras tonight in Montreal. He’s got the entire city behind himself. If he somehow does the unthinkable, Zayn will face Rhodes in the main-event of WrestleMania in Los Angeles this year. As seen over the past few weeks, Cody Rhodes & Sami Zayn have continued to grow as red-hot babyfaces. Something which wrestling has not seen in years.

Coming back to Cody, he’s hellbent on virtually bestowing that Undisputed Championship upon his late, great father Dusty Rhodes. For that, Cody needs to fire on all cylinders, which he’s done effectively thus far. If Roman enters Mania as the Champion, beating him would eventually crown Cody Rhodes as the biggest asset in this business. WWE can establish Rhodes as the peak-level John Cena, for the years to come.
