Many in the WWE Universe believed CM Punk to have bad blood with majority of WWE talents following his departure. For instance, Seth “Freakin” Rollins showed his disdain towards the Best in the World when he returned at Survivor Series last year. Recently, SmackDown leading commentator Corey Graves, who was never in favor of Punk returning, spilled the beans of their patchup.

While speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestlebinge, the 40-year-old commentatar shared how the bond reconnected at Royal Rumble PLE. The former WWE Superstar added how he got to have a long chat with CM Punk. Moreover, both mutually apologized and cleared the air to work in the same company where they belong, according to Graves.

We got apologizes for some things over the years and realized that this is where we both belong, this is where we both want to be, and it’s been a really exciting time for me personally to be able to rekindle a friendship that meant so much to me over the years.

Corey Graves expressed his happiness upon getting to rekindle a friendship that meant a lot to him. Another WWE talent that was elated to have the Punkster back is none other than Randy Orton. The Apex Predator was happy to see him return in Chicago last year. Furthermore, the two sat together to rewatch their WrestleMania 27 match and The Viper later hugged him out to give him a proper welcome.

Although majority of WWE talents loved having the 45-year-old Superstar back, two Superstars are not at all happy to have him back. One is Punk’s arch-nemesis Seth Rollins and other is Drew McIntyre. The Visionary was upset how he wasn’t informed about the wrestling veteran’s return. Despite their differences, The Cookie Master and The Revolutionary have been working together.

CM Punk sheds light on his relationship with Triple H and Roman Reigns

Throughout his time away from the WWE, CM Punk never spoke good about anyone from WWE especially, WWE CCO, Triple H. However, while speaking on the MMA Hour, the former AEW star stated how he talked to Nick Khan and Hunter before his big return. Moreover, the Chicago native showed his enthusiasm and expressed his desire to take on more responsibilities in the future.

Also, The Second City Saint spoke about his current relationship with Roman Reigns. PJ stated how he is not around to make friends and wants to focus on business. Moreover, the former mixed martial artist wants to rekindle his friendship with the people he will work with. Interestingly, The Tribal Chief recently took shots at The Voice of The Voiceless by addressing his triceps injury.

The 5-time WWE Champion has somehow interjected himself in the Seth Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre match at WrestleMania XL. Moreover, the Best in the World recently picked the winners of main event of ‘Mania Saturday. The recently returned Superstar is amped up for his first big one after 11 long years. It will be interesting to see how Punk messes with Rollins and McIntyre in their marquee match at the Show of Shows.
