Damian Priest has been having a great time in the WWE as of now. The 40-year-old has been doing some of the best work of his career while being a part of The Judgment Day. Priest may not be in the limelight as of late, but he is indeed a vital part of the group. Damian Priest has been decent in terms of delivering promotions and is athletic enough for his size.
The former United States champion was the first to become a part of Judgment Day. Over the months, fans have loved the progress of the group and are thoroughly entertained. Each member has been praised for their respective performances as a heel. The Judgment Day is certainly one of the best stables in the WWE as of now.
Priest recently discussed Judgment Day’s future during an appearance on The Archive of B-Sox show. He said that they are closing 2022 on a high note and that it has been a fantastic ride up to this point. According to Priest, The Judgment Day is not where it needs to be. He said that they have just begun and are not even close to reaching their goal.
“It’s been awesome. It’s been a roller coaster, yes, but we’re ending it at the highest point. ……The things that we look forward to, the things that we talk about, and what we want to accomplish, we’re just getting started.”
Damian Priest discusses the aim of The Judgment Day
None of the members have won any championships since Judgment Day was formed. They have the ability to be champions, and they most likely will be in the future. Damian Priest, on the other hand, believes that even if they aren’t Champions, they will be the center of attention.
In the same interview, Damian Priest said that when one becomes a champion, they become the focal point of the show. He stated that the aim of Judgment Day is to make the show revolve around them, even without being champions.
“When we decide to do that. You can be a champion, and you’re gonna be a focal point of the show immediately, obviously, because you have to be……Let’s be the main thing on this show, without even having championships. So that way, when we go, we’re elevating the titles, not the other way around. That’s our goal right now.”
The Judgment Day recently ended their feud with The O.C. Their feud had begun in October when AJ Styles rejected Finn Balor’s offer to join their faction. Both teams faced each other at Crown Jewel, where Judgment Day defeated The O.C.
Following this, Finn Balor was defeated at the Survivor Series WarGames by AJ Styles in a singles match. Their feud ended on the November 28th edition of RAW, when Judgment Day defeated The O.C in the eight-person tag match.
Judgment Day members seem to be on an undefeated streak. This past week on RAW, Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio, and Finn Bálor defeated Akira Tozawa, Angelo Dawkins, and Montez Ford in a six-person tag match. This week on RAW, Damian Priest and Finn Balor will face The Street Profits in a tag team match.
