Damian Priest is nearing the record for longest Money in the Bank holder of all time. Priest grabbed the briefcase on July 1, 2023, in London and received the contract for a title shot anytime and anywhere. Damian has attempted to cash in several times on Raw and at PLEs, but never really made it happen. We are eight months into Senor Money in the Bank’s year-long limit, and he is still hopeful for its big cash-in.
While speaking on the Babyfaces Podcast, Priest reminded fans that he still has a few months remaining to cash in. Mr. Money in the Bank has it until July 2024 and told the fans to chill, claiming that the cash-in will happen.
Damian Priest states that the people online are unsure whether he will cash in or not; they even question its success and if he is ‘champion’ material. Priest has no interest in answering such questions, as he believes his actions with MITB cash-in would silence his critics.
I'm not going to let anybody know when, because that would be silly, but it'll happen and it's going to happen big. I'm looking forward to that day and shutting a lot of people up,Damian Priest about his Money in the Bank cash-in
The Punishment is already loaded with two championship belts on his shoulders. Technically known as a single championship, the Undisputed Tag Team Titles with Raw and SmackDown’s tag team titles have been with him for quite a while now. His partnership with Finn Balor has stood the test and they remain the deadly duo of The Judgment Day. However, their biggest challenge so far lies ahead at WrestleMania 40 to defend their titles in a Six-Pack Tag Team Ladder Match.
Damian Priest initiated the boos at Dominik Mysterio’s wedding
Last week, “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio took vows with his childhood sweetheart, Marie Juliette. While Mysterio is making a note-worthy career in WWE, he has taken a major step in fulfilling his familial goals. Fellow wrestlers, Austin Theory, Damian Priest, and Rhea Ripley attended his wedding.
While speaking with Wrestling News, Priest stated that his notoriety saw no limits, even at Dominik’s wedding. Priest recalled that beautiful day and claimed to have had a good time. He further declared his mischievous deed during the ceremony.
I remember I just turned to my table and I was like, ‘We got to do it. We’re doing it. right’, and I just turned back around and I did it. Then my table followed in and I was like, Okay, that was nice.Damian Priest about booing Dominik Mysterio at his wedding
That’s when Priest and fellow stars started booing him, giving Mysterio a taste of his WWE promos. The tables around him started following him, and soon the wedding hall turned into an arena with Mysterio haters.
