Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone recently shared a photo on her Instagram story. It included a picture of Dwayne Johnson talking about depression and mental health. As a result, it received massive attention from fans worldwide. The Rock has come forward in recent years and talked about his personal experiences while battling with depression.

Padukone has been one of the leading female actresses in India for more than a decade. She has always been an advocate for mental health and treatments for dealing with those illnesses. The 37-year-old also shared her experience battling depression, which motivated her to help as many people as possible.

Dwayne Johnson’s post read, “I didn’t know what mental health was, I didn’t know what depression was. I just knew I didn’t wanna be there.” This was when The Rock was talking to the Pivot podcast. He shared his experiences in college when he struggled to share his thoughts with people around him.

It was a time when Johnson did not know what the problem was. Deepika Padukone shared it on her Instagram story with the caption, “Mental health matters.” Padukone, who has been helping people deal with depression, showed concern for The Brahma Bull. The actress believes it is something people should talk about.

The Rock has been one of the biggest names in Hollywood for quite some time. He achieved success in movies like The Scorpion King, Jumanji, Red Notice, Jungle Cruise, and Fast and Furious. He is currently working with Chris Evans and JK Simmons in a new Christmas movie, Red One. Without a doubt, Dwayne Johnson has emerged as a global star over the years.

Rocky Maivia debuted in the WWF(now WWE) in 1996 at the Survivor Series. His name was an homage to his father and grandfather, highly accomplished wrestlers. Rocky won the Intercontinental Championship in 1997 but could not get support from the fans as a babyface. Therefore, in August 1997, Rocky finally turned heel and started calling himself The Rock.

Dwayne Johnson would overthrow Farooq as the leader of The Nation of Domination. He had multiple feuds with DX, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Owen Hart, and Ken Shamrock. His feuds with Stone Cold Steve Austin over the years are considered to be one of the best rivalries of all time. The Rock had an “icon vs. icon” match with The Immortal Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania 18 in Toronto in front of a thunderous audience.

The Rock started having a part-time role in WWE around 2004 and went on to have a successful Hollywood career. Since then, The Great One has made very few appearances in WWE. The Rock last appeared on SmackDown in 2019 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the show. However, his last match came in 2016 against Erick Rowan in a 6-second WrestleMania match.
